40lb Challenge Day 1:
No, this is not a broken scale (or clock) this is a reality check.
This is not quite the heaviest I’ve ever been (in my late teens I hit 440lbs) but it’s certainly not a number I’m proud of.
It all started with me exclaiming how easy it must be to lose 40lbs in 2 months if that weight only accounts for about 5% of your total body weight (while watching a TV show about obesity) and boldly stated that I could do it in 1 month. Also, that’s a little over 10% of my total body weight.
I know it’s a crash diet and horribly impossible to sustain, hence a short period of time allotted: I’ve got until 30th June. That’s exactly #28days including today.
My aim is to lose 40+lbs and everyone so far said it’s impossible. My best previous weight loss achievement was 70lbs over a period of 3 months – so this is more than double that speed.
Although, back then I didn’t know as much as I know now and I’ve got a few tricks up my sleeve. Through a combination of #IntermittentFasting and a #KetogenicDiet and #Exercise (I currently do none) I think I can do it.
