Shortly after I got snacky-as-hell and proceeded to consume well in excess of 3000 kcals over the space of 3 hours.

It started with apple juice. Then tomato soup. Then some biltong and droewors followed by salami and cheese. Then peanuts. Trying to keep the protein and fat ratios way up.

I also had some mad carb cravings. They were soon seen to by some red pepper pita chips and hummus.

Oh it has been a feast!

In the space of 24 hours I’ve shifted a lot of water weight and sh*t that normally wouldn’t get the chance to be evacuated.

Only now about 45 hours since last eating am I starting to feel some real hunger pains as I shift from digesting what I’d eaten before the fast started to burning body fat.

It probably doesn’t help that my wife asked for help with prepping her dinner, which smells absolutely delicious, I might add.

Now it’s time for my second #bulletproofcoffee of the day and I’ve added some stevia to see what effect that has on the overall taste.

Now that the festivities, food, chocolate and cheese is out of the way, it makes life a lot easier trying to look after yourself.

And it’s about damn time, too!

I jumped on the scales this morning and the thing nearly told me to f*ck off as it ticked up toward the 150kg mark.

Not a good sight.

Anyway… after all the junk I’ve eaten these last two weeks, this fast is a definite sure fire way kick starting a cleanse… detox? whatever.

After these 3 days I’ll have to be strict with myself about sticking to good eating. Following that #keto lifestyle.

I must say, one thing that has helped me today has been a couple of cups of bulletproof coffee.

Yes, I know I said it’s a water fast, but I loves me some coffee and bulletproof coffee works wonders for fat burning and concentration.

I’m looking the coffees to one in the morning and one at night. Everything else is just water. With the occasional Himalayan salt added or some ACV for minerals, electrolytes and added fat burning.
